These terms govern your use of HeyDoula, practice-management software for doulas. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
HeyDoula helps doulas run the business side of their practice: client onboarding, contracts, invoicing, payments, and visit records. HeyDoula is a business tool. It is not medical advice, medical software, or a substitute for a doula's professional judgment, and it does not create any relationship between HeyDoula and a doula's clients.
You are responsible for your account, for keeping your sign-in secure, and for what happens under it. You must be able to form a binding contract where you live to use HeyDoula.
HeyDoula is free for your first 3 clients, with every feature included. Paid plans, when you choose one, are billed through our payment processor, Stripe. Fees are shown before you are charged. Client payments you collect through HeyDoula are processed by Stripe under its terms; HeyDoula charges no processing fees of its own on those payments.
You own the data you put into HeyDoula, including information about your clients. You are responsible for having the right to collect and store it, for how you use it, and for meeting the legal and professional obligations of your practice (including any consent, record-keeping, and privacy rules that apply to you). We process that data only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Do not misuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to access another practice's data, no interference with the service's operation, and no use of HeyDoula to send spam. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other users at risk.
We work to keep HeyDoula reliable, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available." Features may evolve, and we may change or retire parts of the service. If a change would materially reduce something you pay for, we will give reasonable notice.
To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. HeyDoula is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or the content of records you or your clients create. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.
You can stop using HeyDoula and close your account at any time. We can suspend or end access for violations of these terms. On closure, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest still apply. Questions: zev@heydoula.app.
